Terms of Service
These terms cover the use of our website at parkertreeservice.com and the tree care services we provide. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Parker Tree Service, Inc., a family-owned Idaho company serving the Treasure Valley since 1937. “You” means the person or business using our site or hiring us for work.
By using our website, requesting an estimate, or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or our services.
SMS Terms and Conditions
Text messages are optional and separate from these Terms. Agreeing to these Terms does not sign you up for text messages. You can use our website, request an estimate, and hire us without receiving any texts. These SMS terms apply only to people who have opted in by checking the text-message consent box in the chat window on our website.
Program description and message types
Parker Tree Service, Inc. runs a customer care text message program for customers who opt in. If you opt in, we may text you about your estimate and your job: confirmation that we received your estimate request, scheduling and appointment reminders, notice that a crew is on the way, follow-up on a quote you asked for, job updates, and billing notices. Every message identifies Parker Tree Service. We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program.
How you join the program
You join only by checking the text-message consent box in the chat window on our website. The box is unchecked by default. Checking it is what asks us to reply by text. Texting is never required to get an estimate or hire us — you can call (208) 461-8733 or email [email protected] instead. Giving us your phone number some other way, requesting an estimate, or hiring us does not join you to the program. If we add a website estimate form later, its consent box will work the same way.
How to opt out
Text STOP to any message from us at any time and we will stop texting you. You can also call our office at (208) 461-8733 or email [email protected] and ask us to remove your number. There is no charge to opt out.
How to get help and reach support
Text HELP to any message from us. You can also reach our office at (208) 461-8733 or [email protected], or write to Parker Tree Service, Inc., 3214 E Homedale Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607. We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. It depends on your estimate and your job.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier charges these, not Parker Tree Service. Check your plan with your carrier if you are not sure what they are.
Carrier liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier’s network, and neither we nor your carrier can guarantee that every message arrives.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to opt in. By checking the consent box you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the number is yours to give.
Privacy and your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect and how we handle it.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services, look at our work, and contact us. Please do not use it to break the law, interfere with how the site runs, or try to get into any part of it you are not meant to reach. The text, photos, logos, and design on this site belong to Parker Tree Service, Inc. or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written approval.
Information on this site is general and educational. Every tree and every property is different. Nothing here replaces an on-site evaluation by a certified arborist.
Estimates and bids
Our estimates are free. An estimator visits the property, looks at the trees and the site conditions, and gives you a written estimate for the work described.
Our bids stand for 60 days from the date we send them. After that, we may need to re-price the work, because conditions, access, and the tree itself can change.
An estimate covers the work written on it and nothing else. If you want more work than the estimate describes, that is a change to the job — see below.
Scheduling and weather
We will give you a scheduled date once you approve the work. Tree work depends on weather, wind, ground conditions, equipment, and storm emergencies, so dates can move. We will let you know as soon as we can when they do. If you need to reschedule, call the office and we will find another date.
Getting our crew onto your property
Before the crew arrives, please make sure we can safely reach the work area. That means moving vehicles, unlocking gates, keeping pets and children inside during the work, and telling us about anything buried or hidden we would not see — septic systems, sprinkler lines, drain fields, invisible fences, or private utility lines.
We call for public utility locates where they are required. We are not responsible for damage to private lines or buried items we were not told about.
If you are hiring us for work on a property you do not own, or on a tree on or near a property line, you are telling us you have the right to authorize the work.
Changes to the work
Sometimes a crew finds something the estimate did not cover — hidden decay, a second tree in the way, or access that turns out to be tighter than it looked. Small additions asked for on site can be priced by the crew foreman. Larger additions are priced by your estimator. Either way, we tell you the price before we do the extra work.
What we can and cannot promise
We are ISA Certified Arborists and we do careful, professional work. Trees are still living things in an unpredictable environment. We cannot promise that a tree will survive treatment or pruning, that a tree left standing will not fail later, or that a planting will take.
Tree work is heavy work. Even with rigging, matting, and careful planning, lawns, driveways, and beds can show wear where equipment and wood have to travel. We take real care to limit it and we clean up when we are done, but some ground disturbance is normal and is not considered damage.
Stump grinding removes the stump and surface roots to the depth we agree on. It does not remove the entire root system, and grindings are normally left on site unless your estimate says otherwise.
Emergency and storm work
We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day. In an emergency, your safety always comes first: stay clear of the tree, stay away from any downed line, and call the utility and 911 before you call us. Emergency work is priced for the conditions and the risk involved, and is often done before a full written estimate is possible.
Insurance claims
We are glad to document our work with photos and written descriptions so you can give them to your insurer. We do not determine coverage. Whether your claim is covered, and how much your insurer pays, is between you and your insurance company. You are responsible for paying us for the work regardless of what your insurer decides.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is complete unless your estimate or invoice says otherwise. We accept a check mailed to the office, a check handed to the crew foreman on site, and payment through the invoice link we email you. Affirm financing is available if you would rather pay over time; those terms are set by Affirm, not by us.
Licensing and insurance
Parker Tree Service, Inc. is licensed, bonded, and insured. Idaho Contractor License #RCE-26718. Public Works License #006590-D-4. We are glad to provide a certificate of insurance on request.
Photos of our work
Our crews often photograph the work for job records, training, and safety review. We may also show photos of completed work in our gallery, on social media, or in marketing. These photos show trees and work sites, not street addresses or customer names. If you would rather we did not use photos from your property, just tell your estimator or call the office and we will note it on your file.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites we do not control, such as review sites or payment and financing partners. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent Idaho law allows, our responsibility for any claim connected to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work the claim is about. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost use of property. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
If you believe something went wrong with your job, please call the office at (208) 461-8733 right away. We would much rather come back out and make it right than have you live with a problem.
Idaho law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any dispute connected to them or to our services belongs in the state or federal courts serving Canyon County, Idaho.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the bottom. The terms in effect when you approve your work are the ones that apply to that job.
